GM / Chevy Duramax
Upgrade your GM/Chevy Duramax with Delete Kits & Performance Parts
GM/Chevy Duramax Delete Kits are designed for modern diesel engines including LLY, LBZ, LMM, LML, L5P, LM2 and LWN platforms used in GM trucks. This category includes Full Delete Kits, EGR Delete Kits, performance Tuner and tuning packages with all required components.
These parts are built for Chevrolet Silverado 2500 3500 HD and GMC Sierra HD trucks, widely used in towing, hauling and heavy-duty work applications.
Each package allows owners to remove restrictive emission system components such as DPF, DEF and EGR, replacing them with high-flow exhaust pipe systems made from stainless steel. Properly configured setups help unlock engine potential, improving Power, torque, reliability and overall performance.
Excellent components
- Duramax Full Delete kits – complete package designed for DPF, DEF and EGR removal. Includes stainless steel delete pipe, high-flow 4 inch or 5 inch exhaust options and required installation hardware.
- Duramax DPF Delete Pipe Systems – precision stainless steel pipe solutions that replace factory emission components and improve airflow through the exhaust system.
- EGR Valve & Cooler Removal Kits – engineered components that eliminate the EGR valve and cooler, preventing soot buildup and reducing thermal stress inside the diesel engine.
- Duramax Tuners & Tuning Tools – advanced Tuner devices that recalibrate the engine control module and optimize fuel delivery to increase torque and Power.
All-in-one Delete Kits for Duramax
- Duramax 3.0L LM2 (2020-2022) – turbo diesel inline-six used in Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. Delete packages include emission system removal, custom tuning and stainless exhaust solutions.
- Duramax 2.8 LWN (2016-2021) – compact Duramax platform used in midsize GM trucks. Kits focus on EGR, DPF and DEF delete upgrades with optimized tuning for improved response.
- Duramax 6.6L L5P (2020–2026) — Updated electronics and TCM strategy (T93); delete setups use 4″–5″ stainless exhaust systems, ECU unlock tools, and full emissions removal components for improved airflow and stable tuning.
- Duramax 6.6L L5P (2017–2019) — Early L5P platform with E41 ECM and T87A TCM; packages combine 4″–5″ exhaust, delete hardware, and tuning solutions to improve throttle response and reduce exhaust temps.
- Duramax 6.6L LML (2015.5–2016) — Late LML with revised emissions layout; delete configurations replace restrictive factory components and improve exhaust flow under load.
- Duramax 6.6L LML (2011–2015) — First LML generation with full emissions system; delete packages remove DPF/DEF/EGR restrictions, improving airflow, lowering EGTs, and supporting overall engine efficiency.
- Duramax 6.6L LMM (2007-2010) – designed for early emission-era trucks. Kits include stainless delete pipes, EGR removal hardware and optimized tuning for smoother operation.
- Duramax 6.6L LLY/LBZ (2004-2007) – reliable early GM platforms. Upgrades focus on improved airflow, performance tuning and stronger torque delivery.

FAQ
A Duramax delete kit typically includes a stainless DPF delete pipe, hardware for EGR and DEF removal, block-off plates, exhaust components and a compatible tuning device.
Delete kits are available for most modern Duramax diesel engines, including LLY, LBZ, LMM, LML, L5P, LM2 and LWN platforms used in GM, Chevrolet and GMC trucks.
The main difference is the engine platform and emission system configuration. LML engines use earlier DPF and DEF layouts, while L5P engines require updated hardware and specialized tuning solutions.
The correct Duramax DPF delete kit depends on your engine code and truck model year. Silverado and Sierra HD trucks use different Duramax generations, so identifying the exact engine platform is essential.
Many owners report fuel economy improvements of approximately 2–4 MPG after installing a properly configured delete kit and tuning calibration.
Yes. A Tuner is required to recalibrate the engine control module after emission system removal. Without proper tuning the truck will trigger error codes.
Installation is possible for experienced mechanics. Most installations take approximately 4-8 hours depending on tools, truck configuration and experience level.
Yes. Removing emission system components typically voids manufacturer warranties and may be restricted by local emissions regulations.

Ordering was simple and support quickly resolved an initial file issue. Exhaust install was easy and the 5-inch option sounds great. My only complaint is not knowing exactly what each tune does.
Works well overall. For newer trucks, additional coolant plugs and longer hoses would be helpful.
Very helpful guidance from ordering through installation, with clear instructions and useful videos.
Install stretched longer than expected due to a missing fitting, but once resolved the end result was excellent. Appreciate the help along the way.
EFI Live setup was easy and the tune uploaded successfully, though it didn’t exactly match the video instructions and threw an unlicensed controller warning. Despite that, the truck runs well with no codes and minimal smoke.
