2018-2020 Ford Powerstroke 3.0L
2018-2020 Ford 3.0L Powerstroke Delete Kits & Performance Products
The Ford 3.0 Powerstroke turbo diesel in the F150 doesn’t get much aftermarket attention – but this page has every 3.0 Powerstroke delete kit, pipe, and EGR component we stock for it. All products fit 2018, 2019, and 2020 Ford F-150 3.0 Powerstroke models – the only half-ton diesel F-150 platform Ford offered during these model years.
What’s Listed for This Platform
- Full Delete Kit – Complete DPF, DEF, and EGR removal kit for the 2018-2020 Ford 3.0 diesel F150. Includes ECM tuning, 3.5-inch race piping in T409 stainless steel or aluminized steel, EGR cooler delete hardware, and a 4-inch exhaust system option in stainless steel or aluminized steel. The F150 diesel delete kit covers everything needed for a full emissions system removal on this 3.0L diesel platform.
- Cat & DPF Delete Pipe – 3.5-inch 3.0 Powerstroke delete pipe available in T409 stainless steel or aluminized steel. Replaces the factory catalytic converter and diesel particulate filter section. This platform does not use a separate aftermarket downpipe configuration like the larger 6.7L Powerstroke. The 3.0L Powerstroke uses a compact exhaust routing from turbo to DPF, so this pipe handles the entire restricted section.
- EGR Cooler Delete Kit – Block-off plates, gaskets, fittings, and mounting hardware for 3.0 Powerstroke egr delete on the 2018-2020 F150. Removes the EGR cooler and valve to stop soot recirculation through the intake. Sold standalone or included in the full kit. The 3.0L Powerstroke EGR system runs hot on this platform – carbon buildup in the intake is one of the most common reasons F150 diesel owners come to us for a Powerstroke delete.
Key Features and Benefits of the 3.0 Powerstroke Delete Kit

FAQ
Yes - the components are built to match factory tolerances on the 3.0L Powerstroke. The 3.5-inch delete pipe bolts into the factory exhaust hangers. The EGR block-off plates seal properly against the intake and coolant passages. When installed correctly with proper tuning, the system is designed to operate within normal engine parameters. Just follow the included instructions step by step. If anything doesn't line up, call us before forcing a connection.
Removing the DPF, EGR, and DEF systems drops backpressure and cleans up the intake tract. The 3.0L Powerstroke is a smaller turbo diesel with conservative factory tuning - so even moderate ECM calibration changes make a noticeable difference in torque and throttle response. Exact gains depend on the tune level, but most owners feel a clear improvement in how the truck pulls from a stop and responds mid-range under load.
You'll see better fuel economy primarily because the engine isn't burning extra fuel through forced regen cycles anymore. The 3.0L Powerstroke was already Ford's most efficient diesel - removing the DPF and DEF system lets it hold those numbers more consistently instead of spiking fuel consumption during regens. Short-trip drivers benefit the most. Highway cruising at steady speed should improve by a few MPG depending on driving habits.
The 3.0L Powerstroke is more accessible than the 6.7L - it's a smaller engine in a half-ton truck with more room underneath. Most owners with jack stands and basic hand tools can handle the delete pipe and EGR removal in a garage. The EGR bolts on this platform are reachable without pulling other components. Plan for 3-4 hours if it's your first time. We're available by phone if you need help during the install.
Any modification to the factory emission system can give the dealer grounds to deny powertrain warranty claims. That's the reality with any Powerstroke delete - Ford's warranty terms specifically exclude damage caused by aftermarket modifications. If your F150 is still under warranty, factor that into your decision. Once the factory coverage expires, it's a non-issue.

Easily the best upgrade I’ve done. Power is up and fuel economy improved significantly. Installed it with help from my brother-in-law in about six to seven hours.
Delivery was fast and all parts were accounted for. This isn’t a beginner-level job, though. Even with experience and proper tools, it took time and planning. Support videos were geared toward a different engine, but supplemental documentation helped. I’d buy again if needed.
The muffler is compact, flows well, has a deep tone, and produces no drone at highway speeds.
Muffler eliminated cab drone while keeping a strong exhaust note. Good balance for daily driving.
On a deleted 2022 F-250 with a 4-inch straight pipe, swapping in this muffler restores a factory-like sound with no highway drone.
