What’s Available for This Engine

  • Full Delete Kits – Three LML Duramax delete kit options with your choice of Mini Maxx V2, EZ Lynk Auto Agent 3, or EFI Live AutoCal V3 tuner. All include an EGR delete kit and your choice of exhaust – duramax delete pipe, 4-inch, or 5-inch Downpipe-Back exhaust system. Optional add-ons include 2-inch Up-Pipe High Flo (driver and passenger side), S&B cold air intake, and downpipe – selectable on the product page. EZ Lynk and EFI Live kits include a SOTF switch. V-band flange – won’t fit late 2015 or 2016 trucks with 3-bolt flange. Pickup fitment only.

  • DPF & CAT Delete Pipe – 4-inch T409 stainless steel delete pipe with V-band flange and clamp. Replaces the factory diesel particulate filter and catalytic converter section. Optional T409 stainless steel muffler available. Standalone product for LML DPF delete builds – not paired with an exhaust system.

  • LML EGR Delete Kit – Block-off plates, cooler delete hardware, gaskets, and mounting hardware. Covers 2011–2016 6.6L Duramax – works on both V-band and 3-bolt flange vehicles. Standalone LML EGR delete kit or included in the full kit.

  • DPF Delete Tuners – Mini Maxx V1 and Mini Maxx V2 are Plug & Play tuners – V2 offers power levels at Stock, +50HP, +100HP, and +150HP. EZ Lynk Auto Agent 3 handles ECM calibration through a smartphone app with levels from 0 to +150HP. EFI Live AutoCal V3 rounds out the LML DPF delete tuning lineup with custom calibration support. All flash through OBD-II and recalibrate the ECM for off-road operation without factory DPF, DEF, and EGR systems. Tuners fit both pickup and Cab & Chassis – but Mini Maxx V2 doesn’t support LGH trucks.

  • Exhaust Systems – 4-inch and 5-inch Downpipe-Back exhaust systems with V-band flange for 2011–early 2015. The 4-inch is available in T409 stainless steel or aluminized steel. The 5-inch is T409 stainless steel. Both available as straight race pipe or with muffler – all bolts, clamps, and connector hardware included. Polished stainless steel Black Bandit exhaust tip sold separately.

  • Performance Accessories – S&B cold air intake for improved airflow and efficiency on this engine. FASS Titanium Signature fuel pump helps support fuel supply and filtration for the CP4.2 injection system – a known engine reliability concern that can boost power delivery when paired with a delete. Every LML delete kit and standalone part on this page works toward the same goal. Standalone 4-inch and 5-inch universal diesel mufflers for truck owners who want sound control on a straight pipe setup.

FAQ

It depends on what you're after. The Mini Maxx V2 kit is the simplest - it's a Plug & Play handheld that flashes through OBD-II in minutes. The EZ Lynk kit adds cloud-based tuning with smartphone monitoring and more power levels. The EFI Live kit is the choice for truck owners who want custom calibrations and maximum tuning flexibility. All three include the same hardware - EGR delete, delete pipe, and exhaust options. For Cab & Chassis, you'll need a standalone tuner since the full kits are pickup-only.

Towing gets noticeably better. EGTs drop, the turbo spools faster, and you won't get regen interruptions while pulling a load. The LML already makes strong torque from the factory - removing the DPF and EGR restrictions lets it deliver that power more consistently under sustained load. You won't see the truck drop into a forced regen while climbing a grade.

The LML responds well to a full delete. Removing the DPF, EGR, and DEF systems reduces exhaust restriction and cleans up airflow through the intake. With a performance tune, most owners see 50–150HP gains depending on the calibration. Torque climbs with it - especially mid-range where you feel it during acceleration. Throttle response sharpens across the board.

Yes. The engine isn't burning extra fuel through forced regen cycles anymore, and the DPF isn't creating backpressure that the turbo has to fight. Many highway-driven trucks see noticeable MPG improvement depending on tune level and tire setup. Running a max-power tune aggressively won't save fuel - it'll remove restrictions and make more power instead.

Most owners with jack stands and basic tools can handle the delete pipe and exhaust - those are bolt-on jobs from underneath. The EGR delete takes more patience because the cooler bolts sit tight between the intake and block. Plan for a full day if you're doing everything together. Every kit ships with install instructions, and we're on the phone if you hit a fitment question. If you're not comfortable working under the truck, any local diesel mechanic can knock it out in a few hours.
