2014-2023 Ram EcoDiesel 3.0L

2014-2023 Ram 3.0L EcoDiesel Delete Kits & Performance Products

This category includes delete kits, tuners, delete pipes, and EGR components for the 2014-2023 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel 3.0L. The platform is split into two generations: 2014-2019 and 2020-2023. Because the emissions systems, exhaust layout, and ECM calibrations changed significantly for 2020+, many components are generation-specific and do not interchange.

What Ships in These EcoDiesel Kits

  • Full DPF/DEF/EGR Delete Kit w/ EZ Lynk Auto Agent 3 (2014-2019) – Complete delete package that includes the EZ Lynk Auto Agent 3, DPF/DEF and EGR removal hardware, plus ECM and transmission tuning for the 8-speed automatic transmission.
  • Full Delete Kits w/ Bench Flash & Iron Loader (2014-2019 / 2014-2017) – Complete emissions removal packages that combine DPF, DEF, and EGR delete hardware with either bench-flash ECM tuning or the Iron Loader handheld tuning platform.
  • 2020-2023 Full Delete Kit w/ Bench Flash – Designed specifically for the third-generation EcoDiesel platform. Includes DPF and DEF removal hardware along with bench-flash ECM tuning. Since the 2020-2023 EcoDiesel uses a different EGR configuration, no EGR delete components are included.
  • EGR & Cooler Delete Kit (2014-2019) – Includes block-off plates, EGR cooler removal hardware, gaskets, coolant hose, and mounting components. Eliminates one of the most common failure points on early EcoDiesel platforms.
  • DPF Delete Tuners – EZ Lynk Auto Agent 3, Iron Loader V2, and Bench Flash tuning solutions provide the ECM calibration required after removing emissions equipment. Available power levels vary by tuning platform and model year.
  • Cat & DPF Delete Pipes – Direct-fit 3-inch stainless steel replacement pipes designed to replace the factory catalytic converter and DPF assembly. Separate versions are available for 2014-2019 and 2020-2023 applications due to differences in exhaust routing.

Note: The 2014-2019 delete pipe is designed for Quad Cab and Crew Cab trucks and does not fit Regular Cab configurations.

Key Features of the Ram EcoDiesel Delete Kit

  • Eliminates DPF regeneration cycles and related downtime.
  • Removes DEF-related warnings, sensor faults, and fluid maintenance.
  • Helps reduce soot accumulation associated with the factory EGR system.
  • Improves throttle response and overall drivability.
  • Available tuning options provide additional horsepower and torque while maintaining daily drivability.

Supported Models

  • 2014-2019 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel 3.0L.
  • 2020-2023 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel 3.0L.

The 2020+ EcoDiesel platform uses a different ECM strategy and exhaust configuration than the earlier trucks, which is why many delete pipes, tuning solutions, and EGR components are generation-specific.

FAQ

EZ Lynk Auto Agent 3 is a cloud-based wireless tuning platform that connects through a smartphone and supports ECM and transmission tuning on supported 2014-2019 applications. Iron Loader V2 is a handheld tuning device available for specific early EcoDiesel model years. Bench Flash is a mail-in ECM programming service where the ECM is removed, programmed by our technicians, and returned ready for installation. Bench Flash is currently the only tuning solution available across both EcoDiesel generations.

Power gains depend on the tuning platform and calibration selected. Most EcoDiesel tuning packages offer multiple power levels ranging from mild daily-driving calibrations to more aggressive performance files. While the 3.0L EcoDiesel will not produce Cummins-level gains, most owners notice significant improvements in throttle response, drivability, and low-end torque.

Yes. Reduced exhaust restriction and optimized engine calibration improve torque delivery under load. Many owners notice better hill-climbing performance, fewer unnecessary downshifts, and improved overall towing behavior. For heavy towing, we generally recommend using moderate power levels rather than the most aggressive performance tunes.

On the 2014-2019 platform, many common drivability complaints are related to EGR system contamination, DPF regeneration issues, and DEF-related faults. Removing those systems eliminates several common sources of warning lights, derates, and limp-mode conditions. Regular maintenance, proper oil changes, and cooling system service remain important regardless of modifications.

Fuel economy varies based on driving habits, vehicle condition, tire size, and tune selection. Many owners report improved mileage after eliminating regeneration cycles and reducing EGR-related soot contamination. Conservative daily-driving calibrations typically deliver the best fuel economy results.
