Refund and Returns Policy
DieselBro.com is a specialty retailer of diesel performance parts, including but not limited to DPF delete kits, EGR delete kits, exhaust systems, race pipes, tuners, and related accessories. The nature of these products — often vehicle-specific, custom-calibrated, or made to order — means they cannot be restocked, resold, or repurposed once an order has been fulfilled.
We take pride in making sure every customer gets the right part for their setup. If you’re unsure about fitment, compatibility, or application, our team is available before you place your order. A quick message can save everyone time and hassle — and we genuinely prefer helping you get it right the first time.
By placing an order on DieselBro.com, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
All Sales Are Final
All purchases made through DieselBro.com are considered final. We do not offer returns, exchanges, refunds, or store credit on any products, except in cases described under the Defective or Incorrect Items section of this policy.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- DPF delete kits and related components
- EGR delete kits
- Exhaust systems and race pipes
- Tuners, tuning devices, custom tunes, flashed files, and tuning credits
- DEF delete systems and accessories
- Sensors, brackets, gaskets, clamps, and hardware
- Any special-order, made-to-order, or built-to-spec parts
- Any item that has been installed, mounted, test-fitted, or modified in any way
This policy exists because the vast majority of our products are manufactured, assembled, or programmed for a specific vehicle application. Once an order enters production, calibration, or fulfillment, the associated costs cannot be reversed.
We understand this may feel strict — and we don’t take it lightly. That’s exactly why we encourage every customer to verify their vehicle year, make, model, engine, and any relevant trim or emissions specs before completing a purchase. Our support team is here to help with that at no cost and no obligation.
Defective or Incorrect Items
While all sales are final, we absolutely stand behind the quality of what we sell.
If your order arrives with a visible manufacturing defect, is damaged during transit, or is clearly not the product you ordered, we will work with you to resolve the situation promptly and fairly. Depending on the nature of the issue, this may include sending a replacement part, reshipping the correct item, or offering another appropriate remedy at Diesel Bro’s discretion.
To initiate a claim, please contact us with the following:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the problem
- Photos clearly showing the defect, damage, or discrepancy
We ask that all items be inspected upon delivery and that any issues be reported within 14 days of the delivery date. Claims submitted after this period may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed.
Please note that the following situations do not qualify as defects:
- Parts that were ordered for the wrong vehicle or application
- Cosmetic variations that do not affect function or fitment (minor scratches, weld marks, packaging wear)
- Damage caused during installation or removal
- Issues resulting from improper use, modification, or failure to follow installation guidelines
- Compatibility problems with third-party parts, tuners, or software not sold by Diesel Bro
If a replacement is issued, the original item may need to be returned at our request. In those cases, Diesel Bro will provide return instructions and cover the shipping cost.
Order Cancellations
Orders are processed and forwarded to our fulfillment partners quickly — in many cases within hours of being placed.
If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but once an order has entered preparation, production, or has been handed off to a shipping carrier, it can no longer be cancelled.
If an order is successfully cancelled before fulfillment, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method. If the order has already been partially processed, a cancellation or administrative fee may apply to cover costs already incurred.
Orders that have already shipped cannot be cancelled and are subject to the terms of this policy.
Shipping, Delivery & Risk of Loss
All orders are shipped from locations within the United States and Canada. Delivery timelines vary depending on the destination and the shipping method selected at checkout.
Risk of loss and title to the product passes to the customer once the item is handed off to the shipping carrier. Diesel Bro is not responsible for delays, misrouting, or damage caused by the carrier after the package has left our facility.
We strongly recommend that customers inspect the package upon arrival and report any visible shipping damage immediately — both to us and to the carrier. If the outer packaging shows signs of significant damage, please document it with photos before opening the box.
Refused Delivery & Import Fees
For international orders, the customer is responsible for all applicable customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and any import-related charges. These vary by country and are outside Diesel Bro’s control.
If a shipment is refused at delivery, returned to sender, or abandoned due to the customer’s failure to pay customs or related fees, the customer remains fully responsible for all costs incurred — including but not limited to original shipping, return shipping, carrier surcharges, storage fees, customs duties, and brokerage charges.
These costs will be deducted from any potential refund or credit. If the total charges exceed the order value, the customer is responsible for paying the outstanding balance.
By placing an international order, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for all import-related obligations associated with your shipment.
Sale, Clearance & Promotional Items
Items purchased during a sale, promotion, or at a clearance price are final sale and follow the same policy as all other products. No returns, exchanges, or refunds are available on discounted items unless they arrive defective or incorrect, as described above.
Discount codes, promotional credits, and gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Refund Processing
In cases where a refund is approved (defective item, cancelled order prior to fulfillment, or other exception at Diesel Bro’s discretion), the following applies:
- Refunds are issued exclusively to the original payment method used at the time of purchase
- Processing typically takes 5–10 business days from the date the refund is approved
- Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional billing cycle for the credit to appear on your statement
- Diesel Bro is not responsible for delays on the part of financial institutions
Partial refunds may be issued in situations where a portion of the order is fulfilled correctly or where deductions apply (e.g., shipping costs, administrative fees).
Third-Party Purchases & Gift Orders
If a product was purchased by someone other than the end user (e.g., a gift), any claims or requests must come from the original purchaser or be authorized through the original order email. Refunds or credits, where applicable, are issued only to the original payment method.
Limitation of Liability
Diesel Bro’s total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the purchase price of the item(s) in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products, including but not limited to vehicle downtime, installation costs, towing, rental, or lost income.
This policy does not limit your rights under applicable consumer protection laws regarding defective or materially misdescribed goods.
