FAQ
This isn't an intake manifold kit - it's a DPF, DEF, and EGR delete kit. The products on this page fit 2007.5–2010 LMM Duramax trucks. If your truck is an early 2007 (before mid-year production change), it's an LBZ - not an LMM - and needs different parts. Check your RPO sticker on the glove box door. If it says LMM, you're covered. If you're unsure, send us your VIN and we'll confirm.
The LMM responds well to a full delete. With EFI Live tuning, the kit offers four power levels: Stock, Eco/Tow (+65HP), Street (+100HP), and Max Power (+130HP). Torque climbs with it - especially in the mid-range where you feel it during acceleration and towing. Mini Maxx V2 includes multiple switchable power levels through the handheld tuner. Most truck owners feel the biggest difference in throttle response and turbo spool.
You'll see better fuel economy because the engine isn't running forced regen cycles. Highway cruising typically improves by 2–4 MPG. Short-trip drivers who dealt with constant regens notice the biggest difference. Running the Max Power tune aggressively won't save fuel - it'll make more horsepower instead.
The exhaust system is a bolt-on job from underneath - most owners handle that in a few hours. The EGR delete takes more time because the cooler bolts sit between the intake and block. The up-pipe swap (if you're adding the optional high-flow up-pipe) adds time on the driver and passenger side - tight clearance near the firewall. Plan for a full day if you're doing everything together. Every kit ships with detailed instructions, and we're on the phone if you need help during the install.

Ordering was simple and support quickly resolved an initial file issue. Exhaust install was easy and the 5-inch option sounds great. My only complaint is not knowing exactly what each tune does.
The automated device appears to be missing tune files. When attempting to load tunes, only a parent folder is visible with no further access.
Shipping showed up fast, definitely worth what I paid.
