How Does It Work?

The 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 6.7 RAM 6.7 Cummins delete kit w/ RaceMe Ultra Tuner combines physical emissions removal with electronic ECM programming. The selected exhaust removes the restrictive aftertreatment components, while the EGR hardware removes the valve and cooler from the system. RaceME Ultra modifies the appropriate factory emissions, regeneration, fueling, and performance strategies so the truck can operate with the selected hardware removed. This also stops exhaust soot from being recirculated through the intake.

Installation Information

Required tools normally include metric sockets and wrenches, extensions, torque wrench, penetrating oil, coolant drain equipment, exhaust sensor tools, safe lifting equipment, and battery support.

Program the RaceME Ultra before removing the factory emissions parts. RaceME states that emissions-related codes do not need to be manually cleared first because the Ultra handles them during the supported programming workflow. 

For a 2018 truck, a bypass cable is not normally required. It may be necessary only if the security gateway has failed and the tuner reports Error 12161.

No More Emissions Codes

Correct programming prevents supported warnings, regeneration requests, limp mode, and derate conditions caused by the removed emissions components. Normal diagnostics for unrelated engine, fuel, turbo, transmission, wiring, and sensor failures remain active.
