Description
What’s Included
| Component | Description |
| GDP Commander | Device-specific tuner used to unlock and program the ECM. The Commander requires the correct vehicle information and does not provide built-in monitoring. |
| Stock Power ECM File | A vehicle-specific file that maintains the factory-rated power level while recalibrating the ECM for the installed off road components. The file is licensed separately for the submitted VIN. |
| EGR Delete Kit | Includes the plates, coolant-routing parts, fittings, and hardware required to remove the EGR valve and cooler. |
| DPF Delete Pipe | Direct-fit pipe that replaces the factory diesel particulate filter and related aftertreatment section. |
| 4-Inch or 5-Inch Exhaust | Optional high-flow exhaust system manufactured from quality steel and available with or without a muffler. |
| 2023–2025 Downpipe | The applicable downpipe is included for supported 2023, 2024, and 2025 configurations. |
| Installation Instructions | Covers the main mechanical installation, Commander setup, ECM unlock, and flashing procedures. |
Vehicle Compatibility
- Make and engine: Ford Super Duty with the 6.7L Powerstroke diesel engine.
- Model years: 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025.
- Supported models: F250, F350, and F450 Pickup trucks.
- Body style: Pickup only; Cab & Chassis models are not supported.
- Not required: TCM Serial, because transmission tuning is not included.
The exhaust, EGR hardware, and ECM file must fit the exact truck configuration. Verify all vehicle information before ordering.
How Work?
The 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 6.7 Powerstroke delete kit combines the GDP Commander, a vehicle-specific Stock Power file, and the mechanical parts required for a complete installation. The ECM calibration changes the control strategies associated with DPF regeneration, DEF dosing, and exhaust gas recirculation while retaining stock-rated engine output. The EGR kit stops exhaust gas and soot from returning to the intake, while the selected pipe or exhaust replaces the restrictive particulate filter section. These systems work together as one All-in-One bundle for supported competition and off road applications.
Features
This DPF/DEF/EGR delete kit for 6.7 Powerstroke is engineered around one Stock Power ECM tune with no added horsepower levels. The GDP Commander performs the ECM unlock and flash but does not support SOTF, live monitoring, or TCM tuning in this package. Its model-specific components provide a better fit than commonly used universal solutions. The factory CCV system remains unchanged because CCV parts are not included.
Tuning & Settings
The 2020-2025 6.7 Powerstroke delete kit uses one vehicle-specific ECM file. It is not a multi-level performance tuner.
| Tune File | Power Increase | Purpose |
| Stock Power File | 0 HP | Maintains stock-rated power while recalibrating the ECM for the installed hardware. |
| Setting or Function | Availability |
| SOTF Power Levels | Not supported |
| Additional HP Tunes | Not included |
| TCM Tuning | Not included |
| Live Monitoring | Not supported by the Commander |
| ECM Unlock and Flashing | Supported |
| Vehicle-Specific File | Required and licensed for the submitted VIN |
The Stock Power file does not boost horsepower or torque. Any change in throttle response, fuel efficiency, or drivability depends on the condition of the truck, installation quality, exhaust selection, load, and driving style.
Optional Add-Ons
- DPF Delete Pipe — replaces the factory filter section while retaining compatible portions of the original exhaust.
- 4-Inch Exhaust System — provides a high-flow path with practical clearance and a balanced sound.
- 5-Inch Exhaust System — provides greater pipe volume and a deeper exhaust note.
- With Muffler — reduces exterior noise and cabin drone.
- No Muffler — produces a louder, more aggressive sound.
Key Benefits
Complete Hardware Package
The full delete kit for 6.7 Powerstroke includes the GDP Commander, EGR hardware, and selected exhaust solution in one configurable package.
Stock-Rated Power
The single ECM file retains factory-rated output instead of adding aggressive performance levels.
Vehicle-Specific Programming
The file is prepared for the submitted VIN, Commander Serial, and ECM Serial.
Reduced Exhaust Restriction
The replacement exhaust or pipe removes the restrictive factory aftertreatment section.
ECM-Only Workflow
No TCM file, transmission flash, or SOTF switch is required.
Installation Information
The 2020-2025 Ford 6.7 Powerstroke full delete kit includes instructions and can be installed by someone with solid mechanical and computer skills. Recommended tools include sockets, extensions, wrenches, hose-clamp pliers, a torque wrench, penetrating oil, anti-seize, jack stands or a lift, and a compatible Windows laptop.
Mechanical installation commonly takes 5–8 hours. Access around the EGR cooler and the 2023–2025 downpipe may increase installation time. Commander setup, ECM unlocking, and file flashing generally require 1–2 hours.
Keep the truck batteries fully charged and use a battery maintainer during programming. Confirm the VIN and serial information before you buy the file, then follow the supplied procedure without disconnecting the Commander. After installation, inspect all clamps, coolant connections, plugs, and block-off hardware for leaks. A qualified diesel shop is recommended for an installer unfamiliar with ECM programming.
No More Emissions Codes
Correct installation and matching tuning are intended to prevent warnings associated with the removed emission systems. Previously stored codes may still need to be cleared after the ECM is programmed.
- EGR: P0401, P0402, P0404, P0405, P0406, P0488.
- DPF and exhaust: P0420, P0470–P0474, P2002, P2031, P2033, P242F, P2452, P2453, P2458, P2459, P2463, P246C.
- DEF and SCR: P203B, P204F, P205B, P207F, P208A, P20B9, P20BA, P20EE, P229F, P249D.
The exact codes present can vary by model year, factory software, and failed components.
FAQ
It provides the tuner, ECM workflow, EGR hardware, and exhaust options needed for one coordinated package. It is best suited to owners who want stock-rated output instead of additional power tunes.
The kit uses a GDP Commander and one vehicle-specific Stock Power ECM file. It features an ECM-only workflow with no SOTF, TCM tuning, or built-in monitoring.
No additional horsepower is provided because the tune maintains stock-rated power. Removing regeneration-related operation may reduce certain failure points, but improved reliability is not guaranteed and still depends on maintenance and the condition of the engine, turbocharger, and fuel system.
The package does not include a dedicated economy calibration. Fuel consumption may change after the upgrade, but no fixed improvement can be promised because results depend on speed, load, gearing, tire size, and driving habits.
Yes, provided you have appropriate mechanical skills, safe lifting equipment, and experience using Windows-based flashing software. The package is intended only for lawful off road or competition use and is not legal for emission-controlled vehicles operated on public roads.
