Description

These late LML trucks are factory-equipped with DPF, DEF/SCR, and EGR emissions systems. They also require attention to model-year fitment: late-2015/2015.5 and 2016 applications use the later 3-bolt exhaust flange, rather than the V-band configuration found on earlier LML applications.

The 2015 model year is split between two exhaust configurations. Early-production 2015 trucks use the earlier V-band connection and require the corresponding earlier application. This product is intended for the later 3-bolt configuration used on 2015.5-2016 LML pickups.

How work?

The 2015.5, 2016 GM Duramax LML EZ Lynk tuner connects to the truck through its OBD-II diagnostic port and communicates wirelessly with the EZ Lynk platform. After the vehicle profile is established, the appropriate custom calibration can be delivered and flashed to the ECM. The tune modifies the required engine and emissions strategies for the corresponding off-road DPF, DEF/SCR, and EGR configuration while maintaining normal diagnostics for unrelated vehicle systems. Supported SOTF tuning allows the driver to select between calibrated engine power settings without performing a full ECM reflash for every change.

Power settings should be selected according to engine condition, transmission condition, intended use, load, and supporting modifications. Higher horsepower files place greater demand on the drivetrain and should not be treated as appropriate for every operating condition.
