Bench Flash Delete Tuning is designed for 2013-2023 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans equipped with the 3.0L diesel engine. Unlike a conventional OBD-II handheld tuner, this service uses a bench-flash process to modify the ECU calibration for the corresponding off-road emissions configuration.

Three calibration options are available: Stock Optimized at 0 HP, Stage 1 at +40 HP, and Stage 2 at +50 HP. This allows the van to retain stock-rated output or receive a moderate performance increase depending on the selected tune.

Installation Information

The Sprinter DPF delete tuning uses a bench-flash process, so the ECU must be accessed for direct programming. The vehicle year, engine, and ECU configuration should be confirmed before the tuning process begins.

The ECU is connected to the appropriate bench-flash equipment and programmed with the selected custom calibration. Stable power and a reliable connection must be maintained throughout programming, and the process should not be interrupted while data is being written to the controller.

After the bench flash is complete, the ECU is reinstalled and connected to the vehicle. Physical modifications to the DPF, EGR, DEF/SCR, or exhaust system are completed separately from ECU programming.
