Refund and Returns Policy – Diesel Bro
Overview
We strive to deliver parts that meet the high standards our customers expect. Every order is checked before it leaves our shop. That said, things can happen, and if you need to return something, this page explains how we handle the process.
You have 30 days from the day your package shows as delivered to request a return. After that period, returns are generally not accepted.
Our parts are specialized, and once they’ve been out in the field, they’re difficult to restock or resell.
If you’re unsure about fitment or compatibility, please contact us before purchasing – it saves both sides time and shipping.
Cancelling an order
Orders move through our system quickly. If you’ve changed your mind after placing an order, let us know as soon as possible.
Once an order is printed or prepared for shipment, it cannot be cancelled.
If your order is already on its way, simply accept delivery and follow the return steps below.
Shipping fees are non-refundable in this situation.
A small administrative or cancellation fee may be applied if an order is cancelled after processing has begun.

What we can accept back
For a return to be approved, the product must:
- Be unused and uninstalled
- Come back in its original box and packaging
- Be clean and in the same condition as shipped
All returns require an RMA number before being sent back.
Packages without RMA will be refused.
To request RMA approval, please include:
- Your order number
- Product name
- A short explanation of the issue
- Photos if applicable (optional but helpful)
Special return rules
A. Tuners
- Eligible for replacement unless they include custom tuning (non-refundable, final sale).
- Defective Tuners: If your tuner arrives damaged or defective, Diesel Bro covers return shipping and issues a replacement or full refund.
- Non-Faulty Exchanges: If the tuner is functional but you want another model, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund or credit.
- Restocking Fee: Non-faulty tuner exchanges may be subject to a 25 % or higher restocking fee, depending on condition and packaging integrity.
B. Exhausts, race pipes & EGR kits
- Cannot be returned unless damaged or the wrong item was sent.
- If your order is damaged or incorrect, please contact us immediately. We will send replacements or the correct item at no additional charge.
- Installed products cannot be returned.
- Restocking Fees: Non-damaged returns are subject to a 25–50 % restocking fee based on packaging and condition.
Examples:
- If an exhaust system arrives broken, we’ll replace the damaged parts or send a new one.
- If you receive the wrong EGR kit, we’ll send a prepaid label and ship the correct one immediately.
Final sale items
Certain products offered by Diesel Bro are designated as Final Sale and are not eligible for cancellation, return, or refund under any circumstance, except when proven defective or incorrectly supplied.
Final Sale items include, but are not limited to:
- Custom-tuned devices and software (including flashed files, tuning credits, or standalone calibrations)
- Special-order or made-to-order parts, such as exhaust systems, race pipes, and EGR delete kits produced on demand
- Installed or modified components, regardless of condition upon removal
Once production, calibration, or fulfillment begins, these orders cannot be changed or cancelled.
Please double-check fitment, compatibility, and legal use before placing your order – these parts are built specifically for your setup and cannot be restocked or resold.
This policy does not limit your rights under applicable consumer-protection laws for defective or misdescribed goods, but it ensures clarity regarding custom and specialized products.
Refund timing & conditions
Returned parts are inspected upon arrival.
If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.
Deductions may include:
- Restocking fees
- Shipping costs (unless Diesel Bro was at fault)
We cannot issue refunds for:
- Installed or used parts
- Items returned without RMA approval
- Products damaged during installation
- Returns submitted after 30 days
If a return is denied, we can send the item back once shipping is paid by the customer.
For international returns, customs duties and import taxes are non-refundable and remain the customer’s responsibility.
Return shipping
Send your return only to the address provided with your RMA instructions.
Do not ship anything back without that information.
Unless the item arrived wrong or defective:
- You pay return shipping
- Shipping costs are not refunded
- Use tracking and keep the receipt
- We recommend shipping insurance for valuable or heavy items
Diesel Bro cannot refund items that never arrive or arrive damaged.
Third-party returns
If someone other than the original purchaser requests a return, approval must come from the account or email used for the original order.
Refunds are always issued to the original payment method.
Store credit may be offered in specific cases, at Diesel Bro’s discretion.
Sale items
Sale and clearance items are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or incorrect.
